Good Evening, students and parents. This is Dennis Paschal, interim principal at Douglass Elementary, calling with a few reminders.
Parents, please remember that Monday, January 22nd and Tuesday, January 23rd are teacher workdays and there will be no school for students. Students will return to school Wednesday, January 24th.
We will have our first semester awards assembly on Friday, February 2nd. Our K-2 class assemblies will be from 8:30-9:30 am, our 3rd and 4th grade class assemblies will be from 10:00-11:00 am and our 5th grade awards assembly and DARE graduation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm. We invite parents to attend these assemblies as we recognize student excellence at Douglass Elementary school.
