Good evening, Douglass Families! This is Lauryn Duncan, your proud principal! I am very excited about starting the 2022-2023 school year with you all. Our staff returned last Wednesday and our students will start back next Monday, August 29th. On Tuesday evening of this week, you will receive an AlertNow message from your child’s teacher introducing herself and providing information about our Open House, which is scheduled for Thursday, August 25th from 3-7pm. Kindergarten parents, there will be kindergarten orientation for our newest Eagles on August 25th from 12:00-2:00pm. We will have staff present to help guide you to the correct location. Your child’s teacher will also be sending you an invitation to join her class on ClassDojo. Please be sure to accept the invitation as soon as possible so that you can begin accessing information pertaining to this school year. If you do not receive either an AlertNow message or a personal phone call from your child’s teacher along with an invitation to ClassDojo by Wednesday at noon, please contact the school at 336-623-6521.
