Good Evening, students and parents. This is Dennis Paschal, interim principal at Douglass Elementary calling with a few reminders.

We will begin our holiday food drive on Monday, November 20th. It will run through December 8th. All donations will go to a local food bank. All items donated should be non-perishable. The class with the most donations collected will earn a special treat. Thank you for being willing to help our community out during the holiday season.

Parents, please remember there will be no school beginning Wednesday, November 22, through Friday, November 24th. We will resume school on Monday, November 27th. I hope that each of you and your families will enjoy time together over this holiday break as we take time to reflect on how thankful we are. Please enjoy your time together. We hope you have a great evening and we look forward to seeing you bright and early tomorrow morning!
